My Town Talks is a place for news that may not be news worthy else where. The news organizations in the US and other countries are so embossed with the currently political structure that the true stories are not always told. Couple this with the fact that News organizations are only interested in stories that sell papers or advertisements, then its hard to find the untold stories of people’s lives. The old saying in the News industry of If it Bleeds then it Leads is truer today than it was a few years ago.

Hopefully with the power of the internet we can change that here. My Town Talks is interested in publishing not only differing views on news items that make national coverage we are also interested in those stories that will never make it to the mainstream news. These include items of Goodwill that happen every where but no one reports on.  Since these stories do not make it to mainstream the only was they are shared is through word of mouth.
