GM Stock
Gm Stock fell substantially in the past few days as the market sold off. They hit the lowest they have been since 1950 if that explains the gravity of the situation. Of course the GM Stock is not alone Ford Stock is also in free fall along with a lot of stocks. The Dow has had its 7 triple digit down day with another 678 point drop today. This is getting serious and the worst I’ve ever seen. The selling keeps going and its not only with the Dow Jones 30 its pretty much across the board. Trillions of dollars have disappeared over the last week and it really does not seem to be bottoming yet. I’m not sure how much more of this the economy can withstand and if it continues we are definitely going to be in a log of trouble. With the growing deficit there is not money to bail this out in the Government. couple of this with the falling stocks all around the globe then it could be a very bad time ahead. GM stock and Ford Stock won’t be the most of our problems if this continues.

National Debt Clock Runs out of numbers
The national debt clock in New York has ran out of numbers forcing the operators to drop the dollar sign to display them all. This is sad that we can’t run our country no better than to have the national debt clock run out of numbers. Perhaps we should start paying some of this money back instead of continuing to finance our kids future with debt. I know that nation debt clock is just a symbol, but what it symbolizes is important to consider that only a few years ago we had a surplus. The sad thing is the election is a few weeks is not going to do anything to change the national debt clock. No matter who wins the election we are still all screwed. Obama wants to spend money and Mccain wants to cut taxes, neither of these actions will help the numbers go down on the National Debt Clock.
Snag a Job
Snag that next job. With the economy going further in the toilet every day many people are turning to online job search sites such as Snag a Job or Monster to land that next job. The issues is there are not a lot of really good jobs on these sites. Many students form GA Tech have remarked they where planning on snagging a job with one of the big investments banks on Wall Street, but those prospects are diminishing fast.. Snag a Job is rapidly becoming the catch phrases around campuses because with the fewer jobs available then the more competition there will be for each open position. So get out there and attempt to snag a job before they are all gone.
