Dry Loop DSL - Naked DSL

Since most people are now turning to Cell phones to replace their home lines a lot of phone companies who sell DSL are suffering. I know most of my friends now use Cable for their Internet connections as they don’t want to have to pay for a phone line they never use. The telephone companies are responding with Naked DSL or Dry Loop DSL as it is also known. Dry Loop DSL is basically DSL without the phone line. You get a phone line into your house and you can access DSL through the line, but you can’t make any phone calls. This is great if all you want is Internet connectivity and you don’t really need to utilize the telephone portion of a DSL line. We killed off our DSL a few years back, but I’ve been considering it again with the absence of the phone bill part of a DSL line and Naked DSL may be the answer.

I’m not unsatisfied with my cable connection at all, but I like to keep switching up so I can save money and get the switch to deals. Right now AT&T is offering some great deals on Dry Loop DSL. Perhaps I will take  a look at changing again. I just hate to do without my Internet Connectivity for any length of time. Perhaps I can get a Naked DSL connection during the same day as I turn off the cable modem connection. I’m not totally sold on Dry loop DSL but it may be something work looking into.

Honey Baked Ham Stores

I love Honey Baked Hams from the Honey Baked Ham Store. In fact not only do I like the Honey Baked Hams, I love the Honey Baked Turkey’s, the Honey Baked Store sides. Pretty much anything the Honey Baked Ham store sells I will eat. One of the greatest thing about the honey Baked Ham Store is not only the great food, but the free samples. I’ll admit that sometimes I just go by there at lunch and try out the samples until I’m full.

But the Honey Baked Ham Store means something special to me at this time of the year as I don’t feel guilty or buying one of the Honey Baked Hams like I do through out the rest of the year. After all you have to have something good to eat for Thanksgiving Dinner and a honey Baked Ham will accomplish that task. One thing I’ve been thinking is since money is a little tight this year should I spend 60 bucks on an Honey Baked Ham or should I look for something a little cheaper. I’m sure I will go with the honey Baked Ham. Perhaps I can find a honey baked ham store coupon to save me some money. Regardless of whether I find a coupon for  a honey baked ham or not, I’m probably still going to buy a Honey Baked Ham for Thanksgiving Dinner this year.

Black Friday 2008 Sales

In less than two weeks the Back Friday 2008 Sales will open at stores all over the US. Some of these sales will be at stores such at KB Toys where the company plans on opening a lot of their stores at midnight on Black Friday 2008 in hopes of obtaining a rush of shoppers trying to grab that great bargain during the Black Friday 2008 Sales.

Quite a few stores are planning sales, such as Best Buy, Walmart, Target as well as many more. The Black Friday 2008 sales day is not expected to be stellar this year with the slumping economy. Of course that is good for the frugal shopper as its is expected that retailors will slash prices even more this year for Black Friday 2008 sales than other black Friday sale years.

Most retailers keep the exact prices under wraps until right before the Black Friday 2008 Sale so competitors do not have time to match their prices and Black Friday Deals. We’ll see if that hold true this year for the Black Friday sales or whether they advertise more in hopes of bringing in more people to the Black Friday sales day.
