Electric cars could be mainstream before very much longer. Right now electric cars are very expensive and while Hybrid cars are more affordable they still cost more than a standard gasoline model. The UK is working to make electric cars more affordable for its residents as its offering $7500 dollars in incentives for people who purchase an electric car this year.

The US is also putting forth efforts to improve the production of alternative energy vehicles, but they have not offered the same type of incentives that the UK has offered with this deal. Perhaps the US government should take a look at what the UK is doing and follow their lead. If we want to get rid of the gas guzzlers and push people towards alternative energy cars such as the electric car or hybrid car, then lets make it attractive. After all we give all this money to the big bank executives why not give a little to the little guy.

I’m excited about some of the possibilities with the electric cars that are coming out Dodge and Chevrolet both have electric car models in the pipeline to come out next year. Lets just hope the prices are low enough that the average person can afford an electric car soon.

Welcome back!
