Phil Mickelson Wins 2010 Masters

Phil Mickelson has won his third Masters tournament at Augusta with a respectable finish at –16. The 2010 Masters was supposed to be all about Tiger Woods who made a respectable showing but the real star was Phil. Phil Mickelson came from behind after the first and second day with a 5 under showing on Saturday to put himself in contention. Mickelson was then able to edge out Lee Westwood on the back nine where he surged ahead of the pack.

This was an emotional win for Phil and his family as his wife has been battling breast cancer. After Phil finished with a birdie on the 18th green his wife was there to congratulate him. He showed himself as the true champion he as he won the 2010 Masters.
