Sprint Nextel to layoff 8000

Well we are losing more jobs as Sprint Nextel plans to layoff another 8000 employees. This economy is becoming very scary. You have a lot of companies who are not really known for reducing their workforce such as Microsoft and now Sprint Nextel( who have been on an acquisition quest) laying off employees left and right. If Obama hopes to counteract this problem, then he needs to do something now. Personally I would love to see a stimulus check for additional money come into my house today.

Every time one of these companies let people go then the tax base reduces and if something is not done soon then its going to be very hard for them to keep borrowing money is going to be come more difficult. Everyone is always wondering what their individual FICO score is. I wonder what the credit score of the Government is right now. We keep trying to borrow our way out of this mess, but at the same time not many people want to put the money in the hands of the people who need it most.

The Sprint Nextel layoffs will probably not be the last we see this month or next.
