The study also found that the top performing companies are more likely to use a range of techniques to ensure that they can retrieve the best possible data about their assets. There are a range of different technologies that were found to be most popular with the top companies. it was discovered how the top performing companies would invest money is different asset management techniques like remote asset monitoring.

These different technologies help companies to keep active information regarding their assets for their employees. This now means that informed decisions can be made based on the information retrieved about their assets. It also allows the companies to see how the impact that their assets have on their company earnings.

      Fixed asset software should have all different depreciation methods hardcoded and able to have applied to a database with a single mouse click.
