Parents love to buy dresses for their babies. If there is some special occasion like the Halloween night they would never miss the chance to buy that perfect dress for their new born babies. Parents should give topmost priority to safety. Make sure that your baby’s Halloween costumes do not have any removable parts, such as buttons or pins that could pose choking hazards. Make sure that there are no strings, elastic or ribbons that could tighten around an infant’s neck. Avoid masks for babies.  A mask can make walking difficult, and it can also cause impaired balance. In addition, masks can be irritating for the very young. Another important thing that you have to consider while choosing Halloween costume for babies is comfort. Babies have to be happy wearing their dress, if they feel uncomfortable in their dress they will start crying and so know one would enjoy the party. Don’t buy a costume for the child that has a tight fit, as they may feel restricted. A too large costume may be cumbersome and hot. See to it that babies do not wear crinkly, scratchy material costume. For an infant looks do not matter, if she is not uncomfortable, she will not be happy. Costumes that enclose the legs and feet, often called “bunting” will likely cause her frustration.

When shopping for baby, the simpler the costume is the better. Babies should wear simple costumes so that mothers do not face diaper change problem. A costume in the form of an onesy, with leg and crotch snaps, is the most practical. Parents would love their kids to be dressed well, but chances are she/he may be miserable in their costume. You should be willing to compromise. Some practical tips are as follows: Before making your child wear the costume for the Halloween night make her wear the costume several times prior to the big day. Babies do not have patience, so get them dressed as soon as possible. Try taking photos and videos of the baby once she is dressed. In such a way you can have some great shots, even if the costume is short-lived. If baby does not like one part of the costume don’t push her. Some babies do not like hats and headbands so don’t push them to wear it. In the last moment if the baby hates her costume, have a cute and festive onesy or t-shirt available.

Some famous infant costumes are Superman, batman, Spiderman, bumblebee, butterfly, teddy bear, lion, tiger, leopard, dog, bunny, cat, bird, fish, chili pepper, angel, devil, bat, vampire and Elvis. So consider buying a snuggly costume that will make Halloween enjoyable for both parent and child before you try to transform them into a Halloween spectacular that may warrant tears.
