You can truly get a lawn that is absolutely beautiful by being devoted to your lawn care , but it isn’t always easy to find the time to do it.For precisely this reason, lawn care specialists stay in business, because homeowners who don’t have the time seek out their  help.  You have to spend days and days on a boat, if you just spent a couple hours here and there on it you could still have a lawn that looks pretty nice. The guide below will provide you with some shortcuts to lawn care help and proper maintenance.

Fertilizing, Controlling Your Weeds, Grooming Your Yard

Of course, that is the ideal thing to do if you really want a great looking lawn. Doing that though, brings us to the original problem, which is a lack of time. If you can spend a few hours after work or before or even during weekends, fertilizing, pulling out the weeds, and carefully trimming and grooming your lawn, then good for you. If you don’t have any time though, and you want a decent looking lawn fast, then follow these coming lawn care tips.

Tip #1 – Water

In order for your grass to grow green you need to give the water. Make sure that your lawn care help includes a good deep watering at least a couple of times a week. This is an essential part of good lawn help and maintenance that should not be forsaken. A good sprinkler system is by far the easiest and best way to give your lawn the water that it needs. This especially works if you are having a party and you want your lawn to look great even if close inspection might reveal otherwise.

All you need to do is throw the sprinkler on the lawn both on the morning before the party, and lightly on the day of the party as well. Take note of the word “lightly” because you want your lawn to have plenty of time to dry before guests arrive. Providing your lawn with these two shots of water, well speed up the greening effect on it.

Tip #2 – Mow

Another essential tip of proper lawn care is mowing. Forget about pulling all the clover or dealing with all that crabgrass before mowing. If your guests are coming the following day, you don’t really have enough time to deal with your lawn being uneven.

All that you really need to do is mow your lawn on the afternoon before your party, weeds and all. Remember to do it in the afternoon because you want your morning water to have time to dry out.

The whole idea behind this quick lawn care tip is to give your guests the impression that it is a well taken care of the lawn, and your hope is that they don’t  notice the slight differences in texture. It is always possible of course, the somebody may take a close inspection of your yard and notice some stray clippings, but that’s getting kind of petty.  When pressed for time, the end result is worth it. Besides, it is always nice to have the nice fresh green smell of freshly mowed lawn during an outside party.
