Steve Rattner Resigns after pressure related to cheating scandal
Steve Rattner or Ratner, not sure how the name is spelled is in a lot of trouble because of an alleged affairs with an unknown gentleman’s wife. Apparently the angry husband has been posting comments all over the web saying that Steve Rattner paid his wife $500,000 thousand dollars to leave him. Steven Rattner worked as a managing director at DLJ Merchant Banking and has resigned from that position apparently because of the angry husband’s smear campaign.
This just shows in this day and time when information can be spread across the Internet at the speed of light and only requires a couple of mouse clicks then people really should be careful about what they do or who they do in this case. I remember a few years ago a guy at work apparently started having an affair with one of the ladies who worked here. Well the husband found out about it and went to our public Internet site copied all the email addresses from the site( which was pretty much everyone in the company) and sent an email letting everyone know. Well that got me a 10PM phone call from the adulterer asking me to kill off the email from every one’s computer before people saw it. I told him I could not do it. I could have, but I don’t like him much so I let him have his medicine.
Well I’m sure Steve Rattner wishes he had someone to wipe the Internet of his name, but when it movers across websites then it become impossible to contain. Reputations can be ruined on the Internet as the information can move at the speed of light. Steve Rattner or anyone else thinking of doing people wrong should realize this. Steve Rattner has now lost what I would assume is a very good job because he could not control his libido. This is a different world and not one where you can expect your secrets to remain private.

Great Story - however keep watching for a new addition to the Rattner story, that was only part 1, or a 3 stage campaign
1. Job
2. Reputation
3. Family
