Blacks Against Obama

Obama had an interesting day as he gave a speech in Florida. There was a group of protestors some who carried signs which read "Blacks Against Obama"  The group disrupted the rally with protests against Barak Obama’s historic run for president. The Obama supporters in the room started shouting back at the "Blacks Against Obama" protestors. Eventually the protestors where escorted from the room under the watchful eye of security.

Many people think that all African American people automatically support Obama, but as the Blacks Against Obama posters demonstrate that is not just true. I have several friends of color who just as I think Barak Obama is an interesting guy, but he is just not ready to be president. During the primaries as many as 90 percent of African American democrats voted for Obama. What has never been asked was whether that percentage still hold true when you put in the Republican and Independent African American voters.

To see how this is going to work out in the end will just need to wait until the election, but its possible Obama does not have the support in the African American community that he thinks he does. This is shown by the Blacks Against Obama protestors who disrupted his rally.
