Michelle Obama Whitey comments

I was just reading a blog post over at No Quarter that is saying there is a rumor about a video of Michelle Obama speaking at the Trinity Church using racial terms such as “Whity” to refer to White people. Many people find this term just as offensive as the N word to refer to African Americans is offensive.

I don’t know if this is true, but I have heard comments from Shaun Hannity of Fox News make statements about future videos that may surface. I heard Shaun make these comments shortly after the whole Reverend Wright episode which some say hurt Obama in the polls. If this turns out to be true, then it could really work to push Obama down further.

Of course whether it will really hurt him or not and whether even if its true is yet to be seen. It appears that the previous questions about Obama’s character have not seemed to hurt him. Of course I’m not sure he would still be in the same place if the Wright comments had surfaced prior to Super Tuesday. The Obama supporters will blame Hilary for what ever comes out, but its the Republicans that are feeding this fire. Of course we haven’t seen anything yet. If Obama becomes the nominee then a lot of stuff is going to be thrown at him. His supporters will cry foul, but the truth of the matter is he is the one who has associated with these people over his life. If this story turns out to be true and is ran by the news stations, its going to be very hard for Obama to say he has not heard his wife make any offensive comments of a racial nature. Racism is racism and hate begets hate.

Along with the comments she has already made about the first time she has been proud of her country this should seal the deal and put Obama out of the race. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens with this. I for one glued to Fox News since if this is true it will be reported there first.
