Sarah Palin Goes Rogue

Many people on both the right and left consider Sarah Palin a Rogue gun. So its appropriate that the name of her new book is titled “Going Rogue: An American Life”. Sarah Palin burst on the national political scene last year when she was asked by Candidate McCain asked her to be his presidential running mate. this shocked many people since it appeared that Sarah Palin did not have the experience to be Vice President. Regardless of your thoughts on Sarah Palin’s political skills, you can’t doubt her ability to inspire and gain a following. This is apparent in the way she has conducted herself. She has resigned as Governor of Alaska which many people suggested would be the end of her career, but she still keeps hanging around. She has presented in Asia on economics and now she is releasing this book.
This book deal was only announced 4 months ago and originally had a release date of next year, but it seems she did not have any trouble writing it as it will now be released in November. Initially the book will have 1.5 million copies printed and they will likely sell out fast. Sarah Palin has connected with a large following of average every day Americans. She is a normal person and this is both her appeal from the normal people and one of the main reasons the elite hate her so much.
She has been ridiculed for almost everything she said in public and she could have definitely handled some things a lot better. Regardless we at MyTownTalks really like Sarah Palin’s no nonsense method of just saying what she thinks. She reminds us of so many middle class moms around the nation. Perhaps that is exactly what we need in this country. Having an Ivy League education does not mean you are automatically qualified to lead. Perhaps we need a little rogue ideas in government. We can’t wait to read this book and see exactly how Sarah Palin defines Going Rogue.
Welcome back!
Sarah Palin Defamation Lawsuit on Federal Indictment Bloggers

Well as expected after Sarah Palin announced she was resigning as the Governor of Alaska several of the liberal blogs including The Huffington Post and the Daily Kos published stories that Sarah Palin resigned because of a pending Federal indictment where she was going to be implicated for embezzlement. MyTownTalks saw the stories as they hit the blogsphere. We looked at the story, but quickly determined none of the large News organizations where covering the story and it was likely false.
Well it turns out that we were right. The FBI has confirmed there is no Federal Investigation into Sarah Palin on any matters remotely related to these stories. Well now Sarah Palin’s lawyer is threatening to sue these bloggers. I understand this as the claims where totally unfounded and should not have been published.
This does raise some concerns for me as a blogger as sometimes bloggers write their opinion and not always fact. Of course in this case the bloggers who published this story where not stating opinions they where making hateful charges that where totally unfounded. With the increased influences Bloggers have to get out news news blogs need to be a lot more careful in publishing these types of stories.
These bloggers knew this story was false but chose to publish it anyway. While I think bloggers should have freedom of expression, we do have some responsibility to at least try to ensure that any facts we state are true. Perhaps this may take down those hateful blogs such as The Huffington Post and Daily Kos or at least change their hateful nature a some.
I don’t really understand why these people are so afraid of Sarah Palin and yes they are scared. Every sense Sarah Palin came on the national scene as the Vice presidential candidate a lot of left wing nuts have been attacking her. They call her a redneck and every thing they can think of. So why are they so scared. My opinion is because Sarah Palin is just a real person. She is a dedicated mother and wife as well as a politician. She reminds me of many of the average middle class professional females I know. This is actually what I find appealing about Sarah Palin. She is a real person, she is not one of these lying politicians that you see everywhere. She is real, she understands the problems of real Americans. Perhaps that is why the left is so scared of her. Sarah Palin represents something we have not seen in a very long time. A real person who really cares about the issues real Americans face.
I would love to see Sarah Palin run for President in 2012, but I don’t expect it to happen. While her announcement of her resignation shocked everyone, including me, and started a barrage of attacks and speculation about what she would do next, I heard something totally different. It sounded to me, as I listened to Sarah Palin’s speech, that Sarah was tired of people attacking her family. It sounded as if she wanted to make a change, but she wanted to do it in a way where she was not constantly defending herself against vicious attacks that even went to her family. She sounded like a mother who was tired of people hurting her kids. I respect Sarah for this and what ever happens in her political future, I will support her on this blog.
Sarah Palin Wins Debate
Sarah Palin crushed Joe Biden in the one and only Vice Presidential Debate. Palin won the debate easily and shows Biden exactly why she was chosen. So to say Palin wins the debate is an understatement. Biden did not stand a chance as Palin won the Vice Presidential Debate with valor.
Wait a minute see Who Won the Debate
